The hotel had recently undergone interior remodeling, which made the space feel fresh and very clean. The children found the accommodations more satisfying than previous stays, praising the removal of carpet for easier upkeep.

Not being able to use the swimming pool was disappointing.

wingate had a friendly team, especially january and vivian who made my stay pleasant. the outdoor pool was a great addition, and the hotel is conveniently located near everything! it was nice to unwind in the hot tub after a long day.

I had a fantastic time in my King Room Non-Smoking! It was spacious and the upgraded bedding felt like a cloud! Plus, the indoor hot tub was totally the cherry on top after a busy day exploring – pure bliss!

Welcoming lobby atmosphere.

The air conditioning in my room never worked properly, making my stay unbearably hot. I had to move to another room because the bathtub water wouldn't stop running, which was incredibly frustrating. The hallways were dirty, giving a neglected feeling to the hotel.

The lobby had a friendly atmosphere and a great free breakfast. My two kids enjoyed using the WiFi to play games on our devices. The hotel's spacious rooms provided us with enough room to unwind after our long drive. Definitely a family-friendly spot!

In my wife’s opinion, the pool area could use better maintenance. It was uninviting with visible debris floating around, which made it challenging for us to enjoy family time there. A cleaner pool would make our stay much better.

The rooms were spacious with a large flat-screen TV and comfortable bedding. It had a microwave, fridge, and free toiletries. The spa facilities included a fitness center and a relaxing outdoor swimming pool. Plenty of seating was available in the inviting lobby, which made a great first impression. The location was close to various restaurants as well.

The Double Room with Two Double Beds was pretty comfortable. The bedding was soft, which I liked, and the room felt clean overall. A bit outdated, though—wallpaper could use an update. The bathroom door lock didn't work, which was kind of annoying. No major noise issues, and the room had decent insulation. Just wished the breakfast was a bit better—it was okay but not great.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room and cleanliness. You’re only about 2 km from McDaniel Farm Park for some great nature walks and just over 4 km from the Southeastern Railway Museum, making it easy to soak in local sights in a weekend stroll.
